  • Is it possible for me to finance a car while my only job is with a Temp Agency?

Posted on February 27th, 2010 admin 4 comments

My car just broke down the other day, it isn’t really able to be repaired. According to car dealers, I cannot finance a car since I am a Temp, even though I work full time and it is very stable. I am stuck. Any ideas how I can get around this? Do they need to know that my employer is a temp service? Would they know if I just didn’t tell them?

  1. Know this: Once you enter the employment field and possibly before, your life is an open book. Let me know if your car is worth anything, if it is financed now or what. If you want a car it doesn’t matter where you work but you must be ready to bend your back and work your butt off to get ahead. #1 DO NOT LIE always tell the truth, be honest with yourself and others. Go to work early and stay late, do not take time for uselesss things such as gossip or just talking for no reason. Watch your P’s and Q’s (everything you do) stay straight. Stay busy. Do these things and you will get ahead for you will be the first noticed by your superiors. Let me know how you do. God Bless, Greeter.

My wife and I purchased our first home and I was a temp with Manpower.

Granted my wife worked for the US gvpt. But the lender did count all my income.

  3. Hello, i run my own finance company. as long as your credit is ok, then it wont be a problem, as long as you know you are liable for the vehicle to be reposessed if you miss many payments.
Send me a mail and i can maybe help you.
Your credit doesnt have to be fantastic but needs to be accountable..uk
    co.uk at the end.

  4. It will depend on the company. You won’t get a Mercedes either way, but there are companies who will finance you as a temp. Just make sure it’s clear that you work temporarily at different companies, not just plain temporarily.
